Fascias literally cover your existing fascia, removing the need for maintenance (painting etc) and are designed to improve the appearance of your property.

Cover fascias can only be used where there are sufficient timbers in good order to fasten to. If this is not the case, then replacement fascias must be used. Some companies will apply cover fascias regardless of any underlying problems.

Adequate ventilation is required by building regulations and must be at least equal to the original provision. Badly fitted fascias can reduce ventilation and lead to damp and rot.

Normally the first tile is removed and the felt is trimmed back to receive an eaves protection system. Any rotten rafters are replaced and an overhead ventilation system is installed to prevent any further rot. Bird combs are fitted where applicable to prevent any ingress by wildlife which can cause damage to your property.
